Alaska. Prior to serving in vocational ministry, he worked in Oklahoma’s
banking and finance industry for 12 years, where he specialized in customer service and compliance.
Wade is married to Tiffany Goodwin. They have three children Noah, Jarrick,

Prior to launching Cultivate, Jeremy spent six years as a ministry catalyst and field supervisor for Novo where he was responsible for recruiting staff, launching new teams, starting fresh initiatives, and developing leaders. Before joining Novo, he worked in the commercial and industrial HVAC industry for twenty years as a field enginer, project manager, and sales executive in both the Metro Boston and Southern California markets.
Jeremy holds a bachelor's degree in Biblical Studies from Southern California Seminary and a master’s degree in Global Leadership from Fuller Theological Seminary. He has been married to his best friend, Theary, for twenty years and they have two young adult children. OUR TEAM
Board Members
These leaders provide oversight and direction to help Cultivate achieve it's mission.
Paul Paniagua - Board Chair
Paul Paniagua is the President of All Pro Builders Inc., a residential remodeling company he has successfully operated in Fullerton for 36 years alongside his wife, Lisa, who has served as Vice President since 1989. Paul’s leadership is built on a foundation of integrity and restoration—principles he also brings to his work in ministry. A long-time member of Wilshire Avenue Community Church, Paul served on the church board for nine years, including seven years as Chairman. His heart for the Gospel extends globally through his involvement in missions, including leading teams to Guatemala and partnering with Compassion International to plant a church in the Dominican Republic. On these mission journeys, Lisa served alongside him, managing all travel administration and trip preparation.
An avid runner for 22 years, Paul also enjoys hiking and surfing with his son, Adam. Paul and Lisa have been happily married for 31 years and are deeply committed to cultivating God’s Kingdom. In every success, Paul holds fast to James 1:17, believing that "every good gift and every perfect gift is from above," and gives all the glory to God.
Steve Stidam - Treasurer
Steve has been married to his wife Abbey for over 13 years and they have 4 children, ages 2, 4, 7, and 11. The Stidams have done a lot of ministry work with the homeless and children. They have also taken a few international trips to work alongside local ministries. He graduated from Hope International University in Fullerton with an MBA, and has recently obtained an accounting certificate from Eastern Oregon University.
Steve has worked in healthcare administration for over 20 years, in California. In his spare time, he enjoys playing with his kids, building things like play structures, or furniture and is always looking for new opportunities to improve something around the house.
Daniel Palmer - Secretary
Daniel is energized by a renewed love for Jesus and a growing passion for discipleship. He is honored to serve on the board of Cultivate. After several years of working in the oil and gas industry as a field engineer, and later as an environmental consultant working throughout the lower 48, he now applies the same discipline and integrity to real-estate investing. His focus is to serve families through compassionate real-estate solutions that restore stability and create meaningful places to live.
He holds a bachelor’s in Mechanical Engineering and a master’s in Engineering & Technology Management from the Colorado School of Mines. Daniel and his wife, Amanda, have celebrated nine wonderful years of marriage, and together they enjoy sports, coaching, and lifelong learning. He is grateful for the chance to bring his professional experience, heart for ministry, and family-centered values into the life of the Cultivate community.

Her heart for global impact extends beyond local ministry. Vonetta is passionate about developing leaders, strengthening families, and advancing the gospel through strategic mentorship and collaborative mission. She approaches board service with discernment, prayer, and a commitment to steward resources wisely for kingdom impact.
Her greatest joy is being the proud mother of an adult daughter and a beloved son-in-love, while honoring the legacy of her late husband, John L. Mixson Jr. Guided by faith, Vonetta is devoted to glorifying God in every endeavor through the power of the Holy Spirit.
Sharon Van Horn
Sharon Van Horn is a minister, counselor, mediator, and life coach based in Shelbyville, Kentucky. She is the President of Life Connections International, a ministry devoted to helping people know and experience God personally and to build life-giving relationships with others. Through teaching, mentoring, leadership development, community building, and international ministry trips, retreats, and seminars, Sharon equips individuals and leaders to live from wholeness, freedom, and purpose.
In 2011, Sharon founded The Divine Design Project, a vision-centered initiative focused on creating community environments where people experience healing and learn to live from their spirit. An important part of this work includes helping individuals and groups understand the connection between personal calling, corporate destiny, and the land God has called them to steward and bless.
Sharon also serves as the Coordinator for Local House of Prayer (LHOP) Networks in the USA and Canada, equipping leaders to establish prayer-centered communities that bring God’s presence and reign into neighborhoods, workplaces, and everyday life. In addition, she leads Heart Connections, a relational ministry serving individuals, couples, families, and teams to foster understanding, healthy communication, and lasting connection.
Sharon has been married to her husband, Martin, for over five decades, and together they have two children and three grandchildren. In her free time, she enjoys traveling, photography, music, reading, and spending meaningful time with family and friends.
What We Believe
Statement of Faith
The Scriptures, both Old and New Testaments, are the inspired Word of God without error in the original writings, the complete revelation of His will for the salvation of mankind, and the divine and final authority for all Christian faith and life.
There is one God, Creator of all things, infinitely perfect and eternally existing in three persons: Father, Son and Holy Spirit.
Jesus Christ is true God and true man, having been conceived of the Holy Spirit and born of the virgin Mary. He died on the cross as a sacrifice for our sins according to the Scriptures. Further, He arose bodily from the dead, ascended into heaven where, at the right hand of the Majesty on High, He is now our High Priest and Advocate.
The ministry of the Holy Spirit is to glorify the Lord Jesus Christ and, during this age, to convict people of sin, regenerate the believing sinner, indwell, guide, instruct and empower the believer for godly living and service.
Human Beings, male and female, were created in the image of God but fell into sin and are therefore lost, and only through regeneration by the Holy Spirit can salvation and spiritual life be obtained.
The shed blood of Jesus Christ and His resurrection provide the only ground for the justification and salvation for all who believe, and only those who receive Jesus Christ by faith are born of the Holy Spirit and thus become the children of God.
The personal, imminent return of our Lord Jesus Christ is our “blessed hope” and has a vital bearing on the personal life and service of the believer.
There will be a bodily resurrection of all the dead—of the believer to everlasting blessedness and joy with the Lord and of the unbeliever to judgment and eternal separation from God.
The Church is composed of all such persons who, through saving faith in Jesus Christ, have been regenerated by the Holy Spirit and are united together in the body of Christ of which He is the Head.
Water baptism after accepting Christ as your personal Savior is a testimony of death to sin and resurrection to a new life. The Lord’s Supper is a memorial service setting forth in a sacred and symbolic manner the death of the Lord Jesus Christ; all true believers are invited to share in it.
